What Are Dentures
Dentures are removable dental prosthetics designed to replace missing teeth and the surrounding gum tissue.
Why You Might Need Dentures
Tooth loss can occur for many reasons, including:
- Advanced gum disease (periodontitis)
- Severe tooth decay
- Dental trauma or injury
- Congenital conditions
- Age-related wear
Missing teeth can lead to bone loss, facial sagging, difficulty chewing, and reduced confidence. Dentures restore oral function, facial support, and overall self-esteem.
Dental Financing Calculator
* This calculator provides an illustrative estimate by dividing the treatment cost by the selected number of months. It excludes interest and fees and is not a financing offer. Actual monthly payments may be higher.
* Financing is offered through independent third-party lenders. Approval, rates, fees, terms, and available repayment periods are determined by the respective provider. Contact our office or review the provider’s application for current options.
The Denture Process
We take the stress out of getting dentures by making the process personalized, comfortable, and high-tech:
Comprehensive Consultation
We begin with a thorough evaluation using Intraoral Cameras and Digital X-rays to assess your oral condition and determine the best denture solution for you.
Digital Impressions
Say goodbye to goopy trays! We use iTero, TRIOS, and Medit intraoral scanners to capture accurate, mess-free digital impressions of your mouth.
Custom Design & Fabrication
Using CAD/CAM technology and 3D Printing, we craft your dentures to match the shape, size, and color of your natural teeth—ensuring a secure, lifelike fit.
Precise Fitting & Adjustments
We place your dentures and check for comfort, function, and appearance. Adjustments are made as needed for a seamless smile.
Ongoing Care & Support
We’ll guide you through at-home maintenance, eating tips, and schedule follow-up visits to make sure everything fits and feels great over time.
Types of Dentures
At Coastland Dental, we provide three primary types:
Partial Dentures
Used when you still have some healthy natural teeth remaining. These attach to your existing teeth and fill in gaps caused by missing teeth—helping restore balance and bite alignment.
Full Dentures
Also known as complete dentures, these are used when all teeth are missing in the upper or lower arch. Full dentures sit directly on your gums and are designed to fit securely, comfortably, and naturally.
Implant-Supported Dentures
For added stability, these dentures are anchored by dental implants, which provide a secure, long-lasting solution with superior comfort and chewing power.
Am I a Good Candidate for Dentures
You may benefit from dentures if you:
- Are missing several or all of your teeth
- Have difficulty chewing or speaking
- Are not a candidate for full-mouth dental implants
- Prefer a removable solution
- Want to restore facial symmetry and oral function
Whether you need Partial Dentures, Full Dentures, or are considering implant-supported options, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that fits your goals and lifestyle.

Make your first appointment stress-free
At Coastland Dental, we stand behind the quality of our work with warranties tailored to your specific treatment. Our fixed hybrid prosthetics include a Lifetime Warranty, provided you maintain your recommended hygiene visits and ongoing care. For crowns and other fixed restorations, we offer a 5-year warranty as long as you keep up with regular exams, cleanings, and any dentist-recommended maintenance.
To stay eligible for warranty protection, you’ll need to complete all suggested maintenance at the intervals outlined by the provider or manufacturer. Failure to follow and document routine care could lead to reduced or voided coverage. Proof of service may be required if a claim is submitted.
