Before you commit to tooth replacement, it helps to know what goes into the price. At Empower Dental Group, Burbank – Coastland Dental, we walk you through every factor that affects your dental implant cost so the number on your treatment plan makes sense from the start. There is no single price for implants because no two mouths need exactly the same work.
The total depends on how many teeth you are replacing, the health of your jawbone, and the type of restoration that will sit on top. To compare treatment types first, visit our dental implants in Burbank overview, then use this page to understand the costs behind them.
Your consultation ends with an itemized plan, so you can see what each stage involves and how it may be covered or financed.

Two people missing the same tooth can receive very different estimates. These are the main factors our team reviews when we build your plan.
Replacing one tooth calls for a single post, while a full arch may rest on several posts that share the load.
A crown, a bridge, and a full-arch denture each use different materials and lab time, which changes the total.
Extractions, bone grafting, or a sinus lift may be needed first when bone volume is limited.
3D digital scans and AI-assisted radiograph analysis help us plan placement and estimate the work involved.
Nitrous, oral, IV, or general anesthesia may be added for comfort, and each option is priced separately.
For many patients, financing is the most practical way to move forward with implants without paying the full balance at once. Monthly payments can spread the cost of treatment over a timeline that fits your budget, subject to lender approval.
Our Burbank office works with several third-party lenders, and you can learn more on our financing and insurance page.
We accept all PPO plans in network, along with HSA and FSA. Our team can check your benefits before treatment begins.
* This calculator provides an illustrative estimate by dividing the treatment cost by the selected number of months. It excludes interest and fees and is not a financing offer. Actual monthly payments may be higher.
* Financing is offered through independent third-party lenders. Approval, rates, fees, terms, and available repayment periods are determined by the respective provider. Contact our office or review the provider’s application for current options.
Your first visit is designed to replace guesswork with a written plan. We look at your teeth, gums, and bone, then explain which steps your case may require and why.
We review your health history and capture digital scans that show bone height, width, and nearby structures.
Each stage, from any extraction to the final restoration, is listed so you can see where the cost comes from.
We estimate what your PPO plan may cover and walk you through financing options for the remaining balance.
An implant quote usually covers three separate parts, and each one carries its own share of the total cost:
A biocompatible post placed in the jaw serves as a root and anchors everything above it.
This small connector joins the post to the visible tooth and holds the restoration in the right position.
A crown, bridge, or full-arch prosthesis is shaped and shaded to match your smile, and in some cases it can be made in our in-house lab, MD3 Lab.
An implant often costs more up front than a removable partial or a traditional bridge. Still, many patients look at the full lifespan of each option, including repairs, relines, and replacements over time, before deciding which one fits their goals.
For a plain-language look at how implants work, the American Dental Association offers a helpful guide to dental implants.
Implants also help preserve the bone that supports your face, while gaps left open may allow nearby teeth to drift. Our Super GPs can compare these trade-offs with you so you can choose with confidence. You can also read about single-tooth implants and full mouth implants to see how scope changes the plan.
Planning ahead can make a meaningful difference in what you pay out of pocket. You may find it easier to budget for implants if:
Pre-tax health savings dollars can often be applied toward eligible implant treatment.
Timing certain stages across benefit years may help you use more of your annual coverage.
In some cases, preparatory work and the final restoration can be scheduled in separate stages.
Every implant estimate at our office starts with an exam, because bone health and the number of teeth involved shape the final number. If your scans show that you need a bone graft or a sinus lift, we explain that added step and its cost before any work begins.
We accept all PPO plans in network, along with HSA and FSA. Dental plans vary, and many place limits on implant coverage, so we verify your benefits and show your estimated share in writing. Financing through CareCredit, Affirm, HFD, Alphaeon, and Happen Bank can cover the balance with monthly payments, subject to approval.
Our team speaks English, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, and Armenian, so you can talk through costs in the language you prefer. To get a personal estimate, contact our Burbank office and schedule your implant consultation.
The cost depends on how many teeth are replaced, the restoration type, and whether you need grafting or extractions first. We provide an itemized estimate after your exam and 3D scans.
An accurate estimate requires seeing your bone volume, gum health, and bite. Without an exam, any number could be far from what your case actually needs.
Some PPO plans cover part of implant treatment, while others limit or exclude it. We accept all PPO plans in network, along with HSA and FSA, and we verify your benefits before treatment.
Our Burbank office works with CareCredit, Affirm, HFD, Alphaeon, and Happen Bank. Each lender sets its own terms, and approval depends on the application.
Yes. If your jaw lacks enough bone to support a post, a graft may be needed first, and it is listed as a separate line on your plan.
Many patients find value in a stable result that helps protect jawbone. Whether implants are right for you depends on your health, goals, and budget, which we review together.
Sedation is priced separately. Options include nitrous, oral, IV, and general anesthesia, and we discuss which level fits your needs.
We are not accepting Medi-Cal patients at this time.
