  • Perform operation and maintenance activities according to the Annual Maintenance Plan, action plans, and available human and material resources
  • Support the achievement of operational objectives and management indicators related to responsibilities and Balanced Scorecard activities
  • Prepare documentation associated with facility operations
  • Create activity monitoring, incident and financial control reports
  • Report and document potential actions impacting wildlife to the Environmental Department
  • Prepare specifications and manage tender processes for required third-party services
  • Provide technical expertise during the execution of department schedules and activities
  • Oversee proper waste management and removal by authorized handlers
  • Support proper task scheduling with emphasis on forecasting and anticipation for risk prevention
  • Assist in designing technical instructions for equipment handling with inherent risks
  • Maintain a proactive approach to safety strategy and ethics compliance
  • Follow best environmental practices to minimize adverse impacts and preserve natural resources
  • Comply with General Safety Regulations and Quality/Safety/Environmental requirements
  • Lead by example in occupational hazard prevention and environmental respect
  • Work with the QSE department on nonconformities, corrective measures, and incidents
  • Actively participate in awareness, prevention and environmental campaigns

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related position
  • High school diploma or equivalent (2-year technical degree or Journeyman certification preferred)
  • Flexibility for overtime and rotating shifts
  • Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including exposure to dust, pollen, etc.
  • Understanding of workplace safety procedures
  • Experience with hand tools, calibrated tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring, and one-line drawings
  • Capability to move up to 50 lbs
  • Qualifications to work with medium and high voltage equipment
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory record
