Job Description

Charles River Development (CRD) is a rapidly growing and profitable financial software and services firm operating as part of State Street. It is integral to the Alpha product set. Customers include top investment management, wealth management, banking, and insurance firms. The Pod Lead role enhances long-term relationships with customers through daily control and continuous review of operations and support processes. Role and Responsibilities This new role supports business growth and complexity. It is critical for monitoring and maintaining service levels, impacting client relationships and business growth through ongoing review and improvement of CRD’s operations, especially with key strategic clients. The Pod Lead collaborates with global and regional delivery heads to ensure operational control gates are observed and risks escalated appropriately. It involves working with onboarding, client management, and global operations teams to ensure process adherence and client lifecycle management. The role also focuses on process improvement, data reporting, and platform support, including end-to-end client environment management, change communications, incident management, and service delivery enhancements. Key Responsibilities Ensure daily batch reporting and KPI monitoring. Identify process improvements and build business cases for recommended actions. Support SaaS deployments and understand various modules, data platforms, product integrations, and batch processes. Manage client environments, change communications, and operational escalation processes. Lead incident management, support case hygiene, and drive response improvements. General Requirements Minimum 8 years in financial/software services, preferably with financial market systems. Experience in SaaS environments and service management, with strong analytical skills using ServiceNow and Salesforce. Proven leadership in technical teams, process improvement, and client management. Knowledge of multi-tier architectures, relational databases, SQL, FIX, and web services is a plus. Ability to meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and provide excellent customer service. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
