Job Summary Supermicro is seeking a talented System Validation Engineer to collaborate with the Hardware Design team. The role involves validating in-house servers and workstation platforms, troubleshooting, and detecting issues in current validation projects. The candidate will provide technical specifications, test configurations to verify system stability and reliability, and work with internal engineering and product teams on various projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform motherboard and server system application validation testing. Conduct functional and compatibility testing on operating systems such as Linux and Windows. Perform motherboard and hardware functional validation testing. Perform server configuration and system performance testing. Report hardware and software quality assurance issues in bug tracking systems. Duplicate customer motherboard issues if needed. Collaborate with customers and product management to understand production use and advanced functionality requirements. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, CE, EE, or related field. Familiarity with server and computer architecture. Basic knowledge of networking/TCPIP and Linux OS. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in system or component testing. Knowledge of HPC, data center, networking architecture, and system mechanics. Expertise in designing and implementing server systems. Benchmarking experience. Salary Range $95,000 - $113,000. Compensation depends on location, experience, education, skills, and other factors. Benefits include a comprehensive package, bonuses, and equity options.
