About the Role

As a Residential Construction Sales Representative , you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, guiding them through their remodeling journey from initial inquiry to post-construction. Your construction expertise will be vital in accurately estimating job costs, communicating these estimates to clients, and closing the sale. This role is a hybrid of sales and client management, with a mix of office work and in-person meetings. Key Responsibilities

  • Estimate Projects : Apply your industry expertise and internal data to develop precise cost estimates and effectively communicate them to clients.
  • Qualify Leads: Deeply qualify Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) through thoughtful, inquisitive conversations and follow-up.
  • Sales Process: Lead clients through the sales process, explaining the WORKS by JD design-build process, and close the sale with a signed planning agreement.
  • Networking & Lead Generation: Actively network within the community to generate additional leads and expand your client base.
  • Client Interaction: Maintain regular contact with clients during the sales process and after project completion as the account manager.
  • CRM Usage: Learn and utilize CRM systems to track activities, manage leads, and report progress.

Qualifications

  • Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes and residential construction processes.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to close sales and build lasting client relationships.
  • Certifications: RRP certifications (preferred but not required).
  • Customer Service Excellence: Outstanding communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Physical Agility: Ability to work in both office and field settings; travel to job sites within a 45-minute to 1-hour radius of Beverly.
  • Dependability: Punctual, reliable, and prepared for meetings and client interactions.
  • Experience: Previous experience in construction sales or similar role is a plus.
