Our client is a Leading SMB Lender / Fintech and they are seeking a Customer-Facing Pricing Analyst or Sales Engineer who will liaise with sales team and the pricing team to create pricing (coding with Python and SQL) for products. This role is within the Risk Analytics and Data Science organization.

Job Description:
This hybrid role requires a unique blend of coding expertise, analytical rigor, and direct collaboration with Sales teams to optimize strategies and drive revenue. You will need to know how to submit pull requests and work on sprint releases. The ideal candidate will excel at translating complex business needs into scalable technical solutions, working closely with Sales to refine pricing strategies for their fintech product.
Responsibilities:
● Enhance and maintain proprietary algorithms using Python to support sales insights and strategy optimization.
● Translate financial models and business logic into well-structured, maintainable code that aligns with sales objectives.
● Manage code deployment processes with version control, ensuring smooth and reliable releases that support sales initiatives.
● Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support during product launches and adjustments in collaboration with Sales.
● Work closely with Sales teams to gather feedback, refine technical solutions, and improve product-market fit.
● Analyze market trends and sales data to identify opportunities for revenue growth and improved customer engagement.
● S ubmit pull requests and work on sprint releases.
● Utilize historical data analysis to drive strategic decision-making and optimize pricing and revenue models.
● Contribute to high-quality data management practices, ensuring transparency in analytical processes that benefit both technical and sales teams.
Requirements:
● Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics).
● Experience in a client-facing technical role (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant) or as a Python developer supporting sales functions.
● Proficiency in writing production-quality Python code with a focus on supporting business decisions and customer interactions.
● Strong ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams, effectively communicating complex ideas to Sales staff and customers.
● Experience in data analysis using SQL, Python, and Excel, with applications to sales optimization and customer engagement.
● Exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to drive strategic technical decisions in a fast-paced sales environment.
● Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to craft compelling presentations and technical sales materials.
● Comfortable working in a hybrid environment that requires collaboration across multiple teams.
● Experience with sprint scheduling and Offer Logix
Preferred Qualifications:
● Industry experience in financial services, risk management, or technical sales support.
● Advanced degree in a quantitative field.
● Knowledge of statistical methodologies for sales forecasting and optimization.
