Job Description

Henderson Pet Resort, one of the Vegas area's most trusted Pet Resorts, is looking for an enthusiastic Pet Care Counselor to join our team of outstanding pet care professionals. Henderson Pet Resort is a state-of-the-art facility for cats and dogs that offers premium overnight and long term lodging, doggie daycare, pet grooming and training. Full and part time positions are available.

Primary duties of the Pet Care Counselor include management and safety of daycare dogs within the playgroups as well as the care of lodging pets.

Qualified candidates should posses the following:

• Previous on the job experience providing animal care preferred but not required.
• A love for dogs and cats
• Good oral communication skills
• Previous work experience demonstrating dependability
• Self-motivated, independent worker
• Proven ability to follow instructions and learn new things
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Reading, writing, typing
• Ability to lift over 25 pounds, standing, bending and operate vacuum cleaners, being on your feet and walking for extended periods of time.
