Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Nuclear Surety Project Engineer for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and other aerospace system development, acquisition, operations, and sustainment efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to support the US Air and Space Forces' acquisition and integration of next-generation technologies and capabilities. This Systems Engineer will: Work with a highly skilled team providing engineering support for the next-generation ICBM, the LGM-35A Sentinel, and include integrating efforts across the ICBM enterprise and other DoD customers and stakeholders. Required Education, Experience, & Skills 7 years of progressive technical experience with a BS or 5 years with an MS Experience working with program managers, including delivering technical and business briefings Solid knowledge of DoD, Air Force, and MIL-STD Nuclear Surety Instructions, Manuals, and requirements Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) basics Experience developing external customer relationships and communicating Nuclear Surety concepts with senior leaders Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and organize tasks with minimal supervision Effective communication skills suitable for mid- to senior-level civilian and military participants from various U.S. Government agencies Current U.S. Government Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Active DOD Top Secret Clearance or higher (preferred but not required) Experience with requirements software like IBM DOORS Experience with MBSE software such as Cameo or Rhapsody Coursework in systems engineering Knowledge or experience with ICBMs is a plus Knowledge or experience with Surety processes is a plus Salary Range Min $94,728 - Max $161,038 #J-18808-Ljbffr BAE Systems Inc.
