Job Description

The Event Setup Manager is responsible for managing the Setup Department for the Hot Springs Convention Center. This department is responsible for setting up and striking events according to function specifications.

Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Status: Exempt from overtime - Paid Salary

Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the Set-Up Department in the

• Supervise the performance and work productivity of assigned staff; conduct hiring, terminations, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations and staff development.
• Ensure all projects are completed according to specifications in a timely

Working Conditions: Work is performed both inside and outside the Hot Springs Convention Center and calls for night, weekend and holiday duty. Sufficient noise, either constant or intermittent, to cause marked distraction.
