Essential Responsibilities:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with essential daily activities, including but not limited to:
- Personal Hygiene
- Ambulation and Transfers
- Dressing and Shaving
- Preparing nutritious meals and snacks based on instructions
- Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments
- Light housekeeping to create a comfortable living environment
You'll also receive training to perform specialized patient-specific activities, including:
- Providing compassionate hospice support
- Reminding clients about their medication
- Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
- Monitoring blood glucose levels
- Caring for bed-bound patients with dignity
- Incontinence care
- Safely using lifting equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts
Preferred Experience:
While we welcome all applicants, experience in the following areas will be a plus:
- Operating a Hoyer lift
- Personal care
- Range of motion exercises
- Foley care
- Building meaningful companionship
- Light cleaning duties
