Job Responsibilities:
Analyze Existing Operations:
- Collaborate with other departments to identify operation problems, including marketing processes, purchasing, logistics optimizing, and customer satisfaction, etc.;
- Identify and clarify management objectives and needs of systems;
- Ensure that all data requests from the business need are properly executed;
- Observe current operation system and gather and analyze information about each component of the system;
- Monitor published information regularly and follow-up timely when corrections are necessary to ensure reporting accuracy and integrity
Define and Design Research Methodology:
6. Define data requirements and gather and validate information; Develop and analyze key metric and plan variances and related information;
7. Build and automate various models to forecast business KPIs such as time series forecasting, regression analysis, classifiers, etc., using cutting edge model and machine learning techniques;
8. Specify manipulative or computational methods to be applied to models;
9. Develop and syndicate new operation analytics, including KPI for labor, reproduction, warehousing, transport, and supply chain;
10. Partner with the program team to create key performance indicators and new methodologies for measurement;
11. Design and developing rational databases for collecting data;
12. Design, conduct, and evaluate experimental operational models in cases where models cannot be developed from existing data;
13. Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and data quality investigations;
14. Perform validation and testing of models periodically to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary;
15. Understand and apply the conceptual framework and assumptions of the models and how the models are used in the business decision-making process;
16. Cooperate with data engineers to build up Yamibuy data platform, by understanding the business requirements and the data users' needs;
17. Cooperate to develop dashboards that provide a clear view of the business by visually translating complex data into actionable insights;
Analyze Research and Report:
18. Study and analyze information about alternative courses of action;
19. Utilize mathematic modeling to track process improvement;
20. Prepare reports to advise other departments and management on the impacts of various courses of action in order to address the operation issues;
21. Collaborate with Operation Research Analysts to prepare reports on data analysis;
22. Work with business customers to confirm business requirements and implement solutions to support analytical and reporting needs of Fulfillment Centers;
23. Prepare different reports of findings and present results to management of various departments;
24. Analyze new business integration opportunities; perform ad-hoc business analysis, summarize results and recommendations;
25. Ensure that all ICQA Network Reports/KPI are properly formatted and distributed to the management team on a daily basis to help address all ICQA issues in a timely manner; and
26. Collaborate with other management to ensure successful implementation of chosen problem solutions.
Qualification:
Proficiency in R, SQL, Tableau, Excel, Google Analytics, and Python
Fields(s) of study required: Business, Information systems, Business Analytics, Analytics, Financial Engineering, and related.
