Bookkeeper Needed ASAP
Contract to Hire
To $27 hourly

Key responsibilities include:

1. Record Financial Transactions: Accurately record all income, expenses, and financial activities using QuickBooks Desktop version.
2. Maintain General Ledger: Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger by reconciling accounts and correcting discrepancies.
3. Prepare Financial Statements: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for MGT.
4. Payroll: Manage payroll operations; including reviewing timesheets and employee data gather by Admin Asst, and send to Payroll Service. Make necessary entries into QB
5. Accounting AP/AR: Track invoices, payments, and overdue accounts while maintaining strong vendor and client relationships.
6. Job Costing: Review project expenses vs project estimates, compile a report and sent the Install Mgr for review.
7. Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist with internal or external audits.
8. Expenses: Monitor expenses and recommend cost-saving measures.
9. Tax Preparation: Collaborate with accountants to prepare and file tax forms.
10. Sales Tax: Compile and submit monthly sales tax payment
11. Other projects as directed.

Required Skills:

1. 2+ years of recent QuickBooks Desktop version
2. 2+ years of Bookkeeping or accounting experience
3. Understanding of financials and GL information
4. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
5. Highly Organized
6. Strong Money Management Skills
